KBGA is a non-profit, student-run radio organization on the campus of the University of Montana.

We take pride in being an alternative media provider for the Missoula community. We broadcast to the greater Missoula area and reach a potential listening audience of over 100,000.  As a testimony to our mission statement, we were honored as the Best Radio Station in Missoula by the Missoula Independent reader's poll in 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2007!

Underwriting is a non-commercial, informative advertisement about your business that is played on-air as a distinct, individual sponsorship piece rather than in a large commercial block.  With underwriting, KBGA is provided with an avenue to raise the funds necessary for the daily operation and programming of the station.  Underwriting is beneficial for businesses, individuals, foundations, or any other type of organization who would like to donate funds.

We love establishing new relationships with businesses in the community. Like business owners, it is our intention to provide a genuine, valuable service to Missoula. By working together we can encourage local patronage, advertise in a respectable, concise manner, and experience the mutually beneficial relationship of underwriting! Any contributions made are tax exempt and considered a donation to a non-profit organization.

Recently, we doubled the number of mentions offered in our standard advertising package. Since an underwriter now receives 2 mentions per day, this has become an especially attractive prospect for businesses seeking affordable advertising.
